can anyone please help me. my succulents are doing great for a month, but when the hot temp rises suddenly my succulents become soggy. i dont know if this is over water or underwater or these variety is just sensitive to direct sunlight. i would greatly appreciate your thoughts. thank u :)

Penney:looks like sunburn to me
sarajordan2993:no need to thank me , just here to give helpful , friendly advice 😊
tinkerguia:thank you sarah. will do that asap.
sarajordan2993:| tingerguia | for future reference , dont put your succulents out in the sun thinking they can handle it right away . Put them out for a few hours each day , & slowly add hours each time {i.e. [Week 1] - 2 hours sunlight [Week 2] - 3-4 hours sunlight [Week 3] - 5-6 hours sunlight} ALSO , do NOT water your succulents & then put them directly in sunlight — THIS WILL CAUSE THE LEAVES TO BURN !! Instead , water the soil around the base of the plants rather than watering & getting the leaves wet ! | olivia | great advice ! soil should be dry to the touch at least 1 inch deep from the top . One more thing , I promise !! Watering too much or not enough , the leaves seem to have the same ‘symptoms’ - wrinkly , withering leaves . So sometimes it is very hard to decipher which is the problem .
tinkerguia:will dp that olivia. i guess i will need to repot them. i put them on the ground thinking it will make a good tapestry. it was doing really great last month. thank you so much :)

Help with wilting sedum? Recently it hasn't been looking very healthy, I've only watered it once but did I overwater it? It's in an area where it gets plenty of light but it's not direct. Advice please?

Help identifying these tiny cacti and succulents? The man that sold them called the flat tall one a Penny Jade but I can't find any reference to that name online. Also I suspect the flat green one with the red trim is a Paddle Plant but its so young I can't tell. I definitely need help identifying the Cacti and the other succulent. Thank you!

meriunkat:also I notice the pot is made of glass..if it has no holes underneath the water will sit there and overwhelm the plant
meriunkat:you can place the pebbles on top of the soil afterwards if you'd like, you can even place them under the soil to help the plant not take in too much water as well
meriunkat:you may want to consider placing the plant in cactus soil, it absorbs the water better than rocks or pebbles
Frajille:Too much water and not enough sun....Try some cactus/succulent food when you do water it.
Lucky Coyote:I think you may need to transplant it, water it maybe a little less, and give it a bit more sunshine
